   Photo-Alexander Valley 1st fire truck, 1976. it was drivento a fire in Knights Valley Nov. 26, 1976 by Dale Goode on a night marked by 70-mph winds. While awaiting assignment on the fire lines, a tree fell on the truck, crushing it and Dale Goode was permanently paralyzed from the waist down.
