    "The Merryland" Leonard Avilla's boat, built by Stanley Cohle. On Russian River from 1936-1939. 10 cents per ride, could carry 76 passengers (usually 50). Julius Giorgi was "deck hand". Ferried passengers from Merryland Beach (Memorial Beach) to the Sbragia family's Ark Restaurant on the opposite bank of the river. 13' beam 33' length 13' high photo: 1938.
