Back to School, September 1959 Two photos in set. Per newspaper article affixed to rear of photo 2005.01.601: "Back to School. A familiar sight this week were youngsters returning to school for the Fall semester. Top photo [2005.01.602] shows Healdsburg Elementary School patrol captain Larry Wilson halting traffic for students crossing the corner of North and Fitch Streets. Bottom photo [this photo], Mrs. Lucille Cullen, kindergarten teacher at Healdsburg Elementary School, greets two of her new pupils, Scott Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Brown and Gloria Malone, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Malone. Mrs. Cullen reported that she has three sets of twins in her kindergarten classes this year, one set in the morning and two in the afternoon." |
