Historic Franz Creek Bridge, April 1966 Per newspaper article: "Historic Landmark - The old Franz Creek bridge (above) is to be replaced by a new structure but the area landmark in a picturesque redwood grove setting will be preserved and maintained by the county. The old road and bridge will provide access to the grove used by the Camp Fire and Girl Scout groups, and will be a landmark in years to come. The one-lane span, built in arc design, was constructed in 1914." |
