Elementary, 1960 Per newspaper clipping affixed to back of photo .0214: "Bottom photo (see .0222 for top photo), the Merry Blue Birds, on Thursday, planted Monterey Pines and Red Buds, at the Fitch Mountain School grounds. Back row, left to right, Mrs. Margaret Kosta, principal, Mrs. Harold Holden, leader, Norman Ray, custodian, Byron Gibbs, district superintendent; front row, Peggy Izzett, Terri Hoernlein, Nina Thompson, Christine Hoskins, Kathy Campbell, Christine Nervo, Susan Campbell, and holding the young tree, Judy Gagliardo. Mrs.. Walter Gagliardo is the assistant leader. The Camp Fire Girls and Blue Birds will take care of the trees they planted for one year.
