Entry in Future Farmer's Country Fair Parade, Sixth Army Band, San Francisco, April 11, 1957 Date stamped in back of photo is 1 Aug 1956; handwritten date is for 1957 parade. Per newspaper article affixed to rear of photo: "Fair parade: The Sixth Army Band, San Francisco, who will take part in the annual Twilight Parade of the Future Farmer's Country Fair set for May 23. Elementary and high school bands from the area will also participate in the parade. Deadline for entries in the parade is May 1. Entry blanks may be obtained from Jack Cadd, parade chairman or at the Chamber of Commerce." |
