Science Fair at Fitch Mountain Elementary School, 1962 Per newspaper article affixed to rear of photo: Science fair: Creating enthusiasm for the Fitch Mountain elementary School Science Fair was a rally held during the noon hour Thursday at the school. The school's volunteer science club, Hypothoscissors II, consisting of students from the fourth, fifth, and sixth grades, put on a parade and demonstration at the rally. The science fair with the theme, Superstitions to Supersonics, will be held Friday, April 13 at the school. In the above photo the club's advisor, Arnold Licu, is preparing to give a demonstration of magic. Victor Trouette is the science club's other advisor." |
