American Cancer Society Fund Drive, 1954 Similar to 2009.30.0981. Per newspaper clipping affixed to back of photo .0981: "Aid Cancer Drive: "Annual Cncer Crusade - Mrs. Clement Auradou (seated), Healdsburg campaign chairman for the American Cancer Society's annual 1954 April Cancer Crusade, goes over campaign plans with MrsWalter Marshall, Healdsburg chairman of the Cancer Society (left), Elmer Sandborn, Healdsburg treasurer, Larry Newgen, representative of the Healdsburg Boy Scouts, who are aiding in the local cursde and mrs. Everett Lampson of geyserville, Gyeserville campaign chairman. Urging the public to "strike back at man's cruelest enemy", the volunteer workers of the Cancer Crusade are appealing for generous public support of the Society's program of cancer research, education and service in the organization's 1954 fund drive."
