Swim meet at Memorial Beach, August 1965 Per newspaper article found in 8-12-1965 edition of Tribune: "Ready For Meet - Tying in the floats to mark the lanes for the annual Swim Meet at Memorial Beach are Jim Macht (in water), Steve Smith and their swimming instructor Skip Biavaschi. The youngsters had a chance to practice this week with the lane floats in place. Others stand by at left to await their turn at a practice run. The meet will be held on the river Saturday." |
