Two drums being sent to Adopted Battalion, June 1954 Per newspaper article affixed to back of photo: "For Battalion: Robert Hassett, local agent for the Railway Express Agency, with the two marching drums which the City of Healdsburg has donated to the First Battalion in Korea, Healdsburg's Adopted Battalion. Hassett packaged and shipped the drums last week." Set of 15 photographs found in collection. Subject is Smitty Robinson's Adopted First Battalion. Most of the photos appeared in the Healdsburg Tribune during the 1950s. |
