Donation of $100 to March of Dimes by 20-30 Club, 1954 Per newspaper clipping affixed to back of photo: "March of Dimes: Robert Teicheira, president of the Healdsburg 20-30 Club, presents to S. H. Cooley, Healdsburg postmaster and March of Dimes Chairman for Healdsburg a check for $100 for the Emergency March of Dimes fund. $89 of the $100 was realized from the 20-30 Club's car wash campaign held at Art's Service Station on September 18 with club members Robert Teicheira, James Pierce, Jack Zanzi, Mario Derrico, Ronald Bynum and Aryles Cadd donating their services. The remainder of the $100 was contributed by the club itself. The presentation was made Monday morning." Published in Healdsburg Tribune, November 4, 1954 |
