American War Mothers plant trees at the high school, 1957 Similar to 2009.30.1226. Per newspaper clippings affixed to back of photo .1226: Dedicate Trees: Healdsburg Chapter, American War Mothers are shown here with E. B. Christensen, district superintendent of the Healdsburg High School, at ceremonies held Wednesday afternoon, March 20, on the high school grounds during which three trees, donated by the American War Mothers, were dedicated to the Healdsburg High School War II dead. The three trees are Chinese Maidenhair and were planted near the Industrial Arts building. A white and red bouquet, consisting of white ribbon and a red camellia, made by Mrs. Franklin Lander was placed on the tree during the dedication ceremonies.
