Swim Meet Signup, Recreation Program at Memorial Beach, August 1955 Per newspaper article affixed to rear of photo: "Swim Meet: Norman Stupfel, Red Cross Swim instructor at memorial Beach, extreme left, hands out entry blanks for the August 20 Healdsburg Recreation Department Swimming Meet which will be held at Memorial Beach. Accepting entry blanks for the meet are left to right, Ricky Wattles, Connie Williams, Leslie Davis, Tommy Davis, Shirley Ross, Trudy Millerstrom, and Philip Holden. All children 15 years to six years residing in the Healdsburg High School district and in Geyserville and Cloverdale are eligible to enter the swimming meet. Entry blanks can be secured from Stupfel, the Healdsburg Chamber of Commerce or Milton Cerf. at the Recreation office." |
