Planting a redwood tree; March 1966 Per newspaper clipping with photo: "Redwood Grove Dedicated - In observance of Arbor Day, Monday, March 7, the student body at Healdsburg High School dedicated the young redwood grove at the south end of the campus to Dr. Clinton Robinson, longtime member of the high school board, who gave the trees to the school for planting. A plaque designating the area s "Dr. Clinton Robinson Grove" was commemorated for the occasion. Principants in the event were (left to right) Dick Price, student body vice president; Tom Borowicz, student body president; Mrs. [Addie] Robinson and Dr. robinson. the dedication came as a complete surprise to the doctor who was lured to the campus under false pretenses." |
