Smorgasbord Dinner presented by St. John's Church members, 1959 Per newspaper clipping affixed to back of photo: "Smorgasbord Dinner: A very successful smorgasbord dinner, sponsored by the Young Ladies Institute Saturday night, was held at St. John's Parish Hall with many are residents enjoying the event. The hall was beautifully decorated in the Hawaiian theme. Shown here listening to Hawaiian music as played by Joan Fisher during the evening were,. left to right, Mrs. Gilbert Fletcher, general chairman of the vent, Fr. Stanley Gembala, C.R., Mrs. Eugene Ricci, YLI president and Mrs.. Eugene Defilippis, who was in charge of the decorations. Proceeds from the annual event go to the church."
